Rylan participated in a Trike-a-Thon at her school last week. She was raining money to go for homelessness. It has actually been a wonderful experience. Her teacher talked to her about how some people have no homes, and how they were raising money for these people. So since then, many of our conversations begin, hey mom...yes Ry...you know some people don't have houses....yes Ry....they live in the yard....and so on. It has been a great experience to talk about how fortunate we are! :) I also heard Rylan and Logan in a deep conversation about it the other day. It was a fun little race. She tried really hard to make it to 20 laps, but she cried, mom, it is just too hard to make this thing (bike) go. I was proud of her anyhow!Friday, May 1, 2009
