Treadmill Accident

This is what happens when a young boy is on the treadmill and his sister turns the machine on.....Oh yeah....the boys went flying off the machine rubbing his face against the wall on the way down, just to be thrown off the edge.  Poor boy, and poor mom, I almost had a heart attack He said everyone was talking to him about it at school, even the principal!

 

Disney Fun!

We had an absolute blast at Disney.  Loved it!!!!

One year ago

I can't believe this was one year ago....time sure does fly!!!

My princess turned 5 today, wow!  I cannot believe it.  We had a great day and I am so proud of her.

Sunday

Sunday started off  with my husband wanting the fam to wear their Colts gear, needless to say

little did he know, Madison did not have one....major meltdown! :)  Needless to say Shelby and Maddie did an emergency run to Walmart and all was good in the world.

 

 Totally had a rockin evening making bows with my friend Heather.  Yes, we did those all by ourselves, and might I add they looked awesome!!!!  Think I found my new hobby.

Youth Kickoff

Last night we went to the youth kickoff to the school year.  Let me tell you it was LOUD!!!!  Rylan loved it and danced up front with the best of them,

Maddie not so much!

But in the end, a good time by all!

Kings Island

Logan and I got to have one last summer hoorah at Kings Island.  We had a great time together and it was great to have some one on one with my boy.  He is a joy!

The Boy goes to Second Grade!

Well, Logan Hans Smith entered the new world of 2nd grade today.  He was super excited, and I was too!  He has a wonderful teacher and this year is looking up!  I went in tonight for Teacher Night, and his teacher told me that she called him Shelby accidentally today.  Yes, that is right, Shelby had this teacher too, and you will never believe what he was doing when it happened...YEP!!!  You guessed it, chitty chatting!  Oh boy, like father like son.  Tonight, he got to choose what I made for dinner in celebration of his first day of school, so I made homemade spaghetti sauce, spinach and red velvet cupcakes!  Good choice Logan.  Sidenote, doesn't he look big?  I sure thought so.  Here is to a wonderful year!

Princess Madison

Can you believe how big my baby is?  This is her first year at VBS and she is loving every second of it!

We are Alive!

Well, I looked at our blog tonight and thought, heck that is sad....way too long between blogs!  Anyhow, we are currently rocking out at VBS and loving every second of it!  Super happy that next week I will be hitting the road to Cali!  YEAH!!!!  Still waiting on the house...maybe by the time I get home! :) 

Happy Easter!

 

We had a beautiful Easter Sunday today.  We ate a delicious meal and hung out with our sweet family.  It was a gorgeous day in Indy.  I feel blessed that Jesus Christ loves me so much that he offered himself up for me, quite humbling.  It is a true blessing to watch my children understand what Easter is really about, yes the eggs were fun, but as Logan put it, it is really all about God!

Logan's 1st Tournament

Logan went to his first tournament, The Roar of the Lion, in Indy a couple of weeks ago.  He did really well, placed first in sparring and third in pattern.  He made us proud....I am not gonna lie, thought I might cry during the sparring.  It is hard to see your kid getting hit and kicked, but he sure gave them a run for their money!  Way to go Logan! :)

Snow Fun!

Last week it snowed...the kids were so excited.  Everyone eagerly awaited for school to be called, and to our dismay, no school closings.  The kids had a good time playing in the snow anyway.  I was surprised at how much they all enjoyed it this year, everyone that is except Shelby! :)

Christmas

We had a beautiful visit with our California and Florida families the past couple of weeks!  I miss them already!!!!!  Here is the first pic of 2010...our precious three children on Christmas day.  Hope everyone had a great Christmas and a wonderful New Year.

And HAPPY DAY, it snowed for my parents while they were here!  :)
