Aunt Pammy

We had a wonderful week with Aunt Pammy, as the kids call her. We were all sad to see her go. The kids have asked where she is, that breaks my heart. Anyhow, some pictures from her visit with us. We Love you Pam and really miss you!

Clean House

Today Heather and I cleaned our first house for Schmidt and Young Construction....oh yeah baby! We survived a trip to downtown Indy. We were a little scared for a while, but we did our thing and ran for the door! Just want to do a little plug for Schmidt and Young....they really do a superb job! Make sure to give them a call next time you need some work done on your home. A quick photo to brighten your day :)

Same Ole, Same Ole

Wish I had something super exciting to post, but I don't. My sister is still here, I have her for one more day, and then we must say our dreaded goodbyes. I probably will not see her until Christmas....sad times :( Anyhow, exciting news from camp, Ruth Fiscus' grandson accepted Christ yesterday...what a blessing! I know Ruth has been praying hard for him. I got a camera today. Unfortunately I found out I need a card to save the pics....so no pics. I will work on that tomorrow.

Logan's Fall

For Logan's birthday he got a brand new big boy bike from grandma and pop pop. This evening Aunt Pammy and I took him for a spin around good ole Pittsboro. Everything was going great, that is until the last minute or so. We were finishing the last bend in our voyage and suddenly Logan collapsed. He just sat there for a minute, his bike on top of him, and then he started to cry. He saw the blood on his knee. The boy has a battle wound, but he promised me, after many tears, that tomorrow he would try again. Thank goodness!!! What happened Bubba, what happened?This is Pam and I after the fact trying to figure out why there was so much drama....ahhh....Pam is thinking, oh my, I am not used to this.....and just because she is so cute, a Madi picture

SADNESS

Well, I thought I had a ton of cool pictures to post of the 4th. I DON'T!!!! Unfortunately the camera is BROKEN! Sadness overwhelms me. Maybe it will magically start working again. If not, no pics for awhile...sorry family from out of state. Hope everyone had a wonderful fourth. Logan is now 5, he reminded me today that is now 5 along with Jakie and Lauren. He is so proud to have finally joined their club :) Pammy is here this week so hopefully we will have some great fun. Lots of love..

2nd Place

Well, Sunday was quite the exciting day. It was the fourth of July celebration in Pittsboro and the Schmidts and the Smiths entered the annual Waterball competition. What is waterball you ask, well it is where 2 teams battle it out with a hanging ball while spraying a fire hose at the ball attempting to move it down a rope to the teams side. Oh yeah..... We were the rookies, most of the teams have done this before, but we rocked! We made it through numerous elimination rounds and came out strong. We lost to the reining champs, a firefighter, not exactly fair if you ask me, but oh well. It was a lot of fun and we all surprised ourselves. I do not have any pictures right now, but hopefully I will get some up soon. Wishing all a happy day! Go Team S&S!
