What A Weekend!

As I am sitting down to compose this entry there is massive yelling going on downstairs. Yes, my husband is watching a Cubbies game. I just heard a huge YES! so I am assuming they are doing well. Anyhow, this past week we had such a blast! Grandma and Pop Pop were in from Florida and it was non-stop excitement. It is such a blessing to have such wonderful parents who love my family, and of course me, just kidding, hahaha.... I was able to take some time to go out with some friends for some much needed girl time! It was fun to have "uplifting" conversation and just some straight up good laughs! While mom and dad were here Logan and Rylan enjoyed taking "Pop Pop and Grandma" to the zoo. It was a very special day because they let them ride the train, something Logan told mom and dad that "they never get to do". What kind of mom do they have anyway? Here they are on the long train ride around the plains.
And on our way out a quick pic at the desert
It was a fun day. Mom and dad stayed at the Hampton Inn, which might I add is super nice. I would stay there anytime! We had fun swimming and just hanging out and enjoying each other. Here are all of the "kids" chicken fighting.

And last but not least our sweet girl Madi, just chillin' like a villan. As her shirt says she is "sugar and spice and everything nice!"

It was sad to see mom and dad go, and it did make me wonder why we live so far apart from each other, but I know that it is all in God's hands and that He has us just where we belong!

God is so good!

I just thought I would give some praise to God for being such an incredible Lord! I have been thinking about how good God has been to me all day and I am simply overwhelmed by how much he has blessed me. We often forget to take time out in our busy daily lives to thank God for all that He does for us. Craziness, the one who loves us the most and we forget to take the time to tell him how much we love him. Random food for thought.

My Sweet Babies

Just wanted to put up some pictures of my kiddos! I just love them.
My sweet Madison!
Here is Madi and Logan
Princess "big girl" Rylan
Children truly are a gift from God!

Coffee Break with Grandma

I walked downstairs to one of the most precious things I have every seen. My mom was sitting in a chair with Logan at his little table and they were drinking "coffee" and discussing important matters. They did a devotion and it was just too sweet! Rylan joined in for some coffee a little later. It was a nice reminder that I need to take a little time to slow down and really enjoy my children. Special times with grandma!

NARNIA ROCKED!

Well, I saw it tonight, and yes, it was SUPERB! Shelby and I stole a moment and got away while mom so graciously watched the children at home. It was super fun and a nice moment in time for Shelby and I. After the movie we ate at TGIF, I opted for the something or another chicken dish with only 7 grams of fat while my husband ordered a rockin' burger. Well, I hated mine. Didn't even eat anything except the chicken. That is okay because mom is taking me out tomorrow! Hopefully I will order something better. Wish you all a wonderful weekend!

Graduation

Today Logan graduated pre-k. I have to say it was a day of excitement and a little sadness. It is hard to see your baby growing up so quickly. Here are some pics of our day. Logan was so excited to receive his graduation gifts from the preschool as well as his daddy. Logan and Rylan are super excited because tomorrow they get to have a super fun end of the year party at the school, cotton candy and all!
Grandma flew in from Florida for the graduation!
Mommy and Logan...Ahhhh.....
And for the grand finale, our precious baby Madison. She is rolling over! Way to go Madi!

2 Weeks Left!

I had a wonderful evening Papier-mâché tonight! I got down and dirty with the cubbies, and yes Heidi, I loved every second of it!!! Nothing beats a good organized mess, kinda like my house. Anyhow, next week is the last week of MNO. Sad for some, happy dance for me! I am really looking forward to the summer of fun at church. Looks like some crazy fun. Logan graduates pre-k tommorow. WOOHOO! No, sad really. That means that there is no more school until next year. My mom is here. She came today, so I am sure we will have some fun while she is here. I wish all a wonderful night and a happy rest of the week.
