Voting

To those of you who are concerned I lost my mind, I was just joking about the "Go Clinton" remark.....HELLO!

Randomness!

Here is my precious Madison. Yes, the shirt does say Walmart shopper in training! I proudly let her wear it as we went shopping at Walmart the other day... she sure looked cute!

This week has been a big week! I hope you all made it to the polls Tuesday. Well, for the first time ever I voted Democrat. Go Clinton! I am proudly wearing my I voted sticker, notice empty car seats, I went ALONE! Can't beat that.

I finished off my day with a bike ride. This Saturday I will be participating in a 10.8 mile bike ride. Yep, I know many back home are thinking, WHAT??? Yeah, it is a fundraiser for the Mexico mission trip. I actually think it will be fun. Here is my friend Heather and myself documenting ourselves at the start of our 4 mile test run, good times!

All I know is that I can not wait for Thursday night bible study! WOOHOO...ladies night out, and daddy night in with the kids!

Rylan

On Tuesday Logan went home with Lauren after school so that left me, Ry, and Madi for the afternoon. I had a lot of laundry to get done, so I decided that Rylan could play outside for awhile while I folded the laundry. I kept calling for her and she would answer back "here I am". Well, I called for her, no response. I did not worry, I went outside and did not see her in the sandbox where she had just been. Okay, no fears. So I walk around to the side of the house and this is what I see, Rylan trying to climb over the fence. I grabbed my camera to take the picture and she had already started her descent. She was standing on the row where her hands are. This girl cracks me up! She definitely has some spirit!

CIRQUE DE PITTSBORO!

So on Sunday we had quite the eventful day. We went to church, went to a meeting, and then something extremely exciting was added to our day, we went to the circus. This was not just any circus, this was a circus that came to our small little town of Pittsboro. The kids all loved it. They had tigers, elephants, trapeze artists, a dog act, it was really neat. I know the pictures are not that great, they are from my phone, but hey...they are all sitting still, attentively watching the roaring tigers.

Here are the men...they are so loving it.

Heather's husband Ryan.

And finally, the ladies...Oh did we love it! You just can't beat an old fashioned small town circus.

I finished my day off with a great trip to the movie. It was nice to just get out. A great way to start the week!

WHERE'S RYLAN?!?

So, Shelby had to perform a wedding today and while he was gone I must have dozed off. All I know is at 5 o'clock I woke up holding Madi. I put her down, and went upstairs to see what my other angels were doing. Found Logan but no Rylan. I went to her room, no where could she be found. I called her name, nothing. I started getting frantic. The doors were all closed, but where was she? Running up and down the stairs, checking all the rooms, still no Ry. Finally, I went into my room to find a phone and this is what I found:

She was rolled in a ball in my chair in the corner fast asleep. Rylan missing is becoming a theme. Other news of the day, Madi is on treatments once again for bronchitis, I am guessing on the spelling, and to top that jazz up she has an ear infection. Sad times for her, yet it so explains how fussy she has been the last couple of days. Logan did superb at his soccer and baseball games. Apparently he hit 3 RBI's. He was so proud to tell me. I look forward to a day of rest, relaxation and cleaning tomorrow, and some good ole fashioned family time! Maybe I will steal a movie in too, we will see. Love and hugs to all.

Oh Happy Day!

Well, today was a happy day. Logan and Rylan got to go over to their cousins house for a couple of hours, and I got some high quality cleaning time in. Yes, who would have ever known that this would excite me. Especially since I used to cry when my mom made me clean my room! Anyhow, laundry got put away and I attempted to clean my floors, did not get that finished, but hey, there is always tomorrow. So this is the extra happy day part, Dairy Bar in Lizton is open. This was the highlight of the kids, and especially Shelby's day, yes I said Shelby. So here are some pics their first cones of the season.
Unfortunately, Madi was not so excited. She really, really wanted some but it did not happen for her. Here is a pic of her begging.

So for my "life realization" of the day. CLUTTER IS NO GOOD! All it does it mess with your mind. I have decided everything unnecessary is going. Our children have way too many toys. I know I have said it before, but it is a confirmed thought, stuff if flying out of here. How about that cubbie loss, OUCH!!!

Beautiful Day

Today was wonderful. Our household woke up around 4 in the morning to our beautiful daughter crying, she was not happy :( Instead of feeding her, a certain someone just kept sticking a paci in her mouth. Finally, a bottle was made. We followed that jazz up with a trip to cookie cutters to cut Logan's bush that was growing on top of his head. Jakie ventured out with us, this is Logan's "best friend" or "brother in Christ". He calls Logan LOG, long o. Gotta love it. Anyhow, we ate lunch and went to the park before we dropped him off at his next stop. This is where the picture comes in. Jake loves Madi. He and Logan just coo at her, and really take care of her. Well, they wanted to swing her, but I so did not want to get her out of her seat, this was the brilliant plan they came up with:

Where is Logan you ask, he moved on, did not care about taking his picture! Anyhow it was a day finished off with our last day of swimming lessons! I am actually kind of excited, our afternoons will be free. I finished my night off with a great evening of prayer and fellowship with my dear friends Heidi, Kim and eventually Sarah. We had good laughs, which is always a great thing. Girls, hand rolls for you! Tonight I am thankful for a wonderful family, a superb husband, a great SISTER, and great friends. Thanx for the laughs girls. Here is an updated pic of our little girl Madison. Life is good.
